During 05 years (2015-2020), the FPS has been always applying a clear policy of student quality and support, coordinating with the University to implement activities to help development of student quality quality and to expand supportive activities for students.

The student intake policy and admission criteria are defined, communicated, published, and up-todate

The student intake policy and regulations (objects, examination/ admission process, assessment of entry, objects of examination, admission, and priority, etc etc.) for the PBP are based in accordance with the Admission Regulations of the MOET of VNU and the University's plan.

Since then, the FPS and USSH have made public and clear enrolment through communication methods such as: Website http://tuyensinh.ussh.edu.vn, website http://tuyensinh.vnu.edu.vn/, website https://www.thongtintuyensinh.vn/, Facebook https://www.facebook.com /tuvantuyensinh.ussh/, in addition, the Student Ambassador programs involves the enthusiastic participation of students of the FPS. It contributes to the success of the image promotion activities of the University, as well as the public announcement of the enrolment criteria.

The methods and criteria for the selection of students are determined and evaluated

The information about the FPS is clearly, fully and publicly posted on the mass media such as the Website of the University http://ussh.vnu.edu.vn and http: //tuyensinh.ussh .edu.vn [Exh.08.02.01-03], Website of the Faculty, facebook. Thus, potential candidates can learn in advance about the FPS to officially apply to the FPS.

There are two basic forms of admission to the FPS:

- Entrance examination: Based on the results of the 2015 competency assessment test [Exh.08.01.04] and admission based on the high school exam results from 2017.

- Direct enrolment: Based on the Regulation on university and college enrolment of the MOET.

The matriculation scores of candidates entering the FPS are publicly announced on the University's Admissions Website.

After matriculating, successful candidates will receive an admission notice stating the time of submitting their admission records. Candidates can also check their matriculation information on the University's website. Students are also instructed publicly and in detail on the website http://tuyensinh.ussh.edu.vn/. On the day of enrolment, students are voluntarily guided by the University officials and the students with detailed procedures.

In order to improve the enrolment quality, the FPS and the University always hold meetings in August every year to prepare for the admission work. After each regular university entrance exam, the Faculty and the University always have the summary report on the entire enrolment situation to put forward the direction for admission in the following year.

There is an adequate monitoring system for student progress, academic performance, and workload

Based on the specific provisions related to student training of the FPS, the monitoring and support for student learning are conducted as follows:

At the University level:

The training regulations are publicly announced on the VNU website and details are also in the Student Handbook which is distributed to each student and published on the University’s Training Information Web page.

From the beginning, new students participate in Orientation Week which provides them with general introduction about the University, the regulations on student affairs, and the University's training system.

In the first semester, the FPS and the University offer the most appropriate modules to new students. From the second semester, students are able to choose the modules on their own. Module registration for the new semester is publicly announced, clearly to each student through some means such as email, information on the training portal, etc. Each student has a separate account, so that students and University, Faculty can track and manage the learning process through the training management software tool at the university training portal. Besides, after each semester, students’s self-improvement scores are also one of the bases for the Faculty and the University to monitor the students' progress.

Students always keep track of their study schedule by following their individual schedule at the beginning of the semester and keeping track of their learning progress through the cumulative transcript. The student’s workload registered for each semester is counseled to suit the average capacity of each student and so that each of them does not register too many modules in excess of the average academic capacity. Students with poor academic results always receive timely official warnings from the Office for Academic Affairs. Thanks to the right to actively register the number of modules, many students have completed many modules before entering the fourth year.

Learning output of students in the PBP is posted publicly on the website of the University so that students can compare their learning ability to take measures to adjust individual learning attitudes. Students eligible to graduate are officially recognized through the University's clear and public notice.

At the Faculty level:

Each class is assigned a lecturer as a Learning Advisor to monitor and assist students during their years of study. In addition, the Faculty also assigns 01 officer in charge of Academic Affairs Assisstant, and has a specific working schedule to advise students on academic issues.

The academic modules of the FPS are publicly available on the University's website. For students with low academic results, the Faculty always try to find out the causes of their poor performances and their aspirations and make reasonable suggestions to the University.

In order to improve the learning quality of students, the FPS and the University on the one hand always monitor the students' learning progress, on the other hand, conduct surveys for feadback of students on the academic module of the Faculty. The results show that students reflect quite positively on the quality of the academic modules of the FPS.

At the lecturer level:

For each module, lecturers evaluate learners through three scores: regular, mid-term and final period. At the end of each module, the lecturer will enter the score on the University's software, students have the right to have their exam reviewed if needed.

Academic advice, co-curricular activities, student competition, and other student support services are available to improve learning and employability

Students learn about studying and living in the University environment through students' notebooks distributed to each of them and on the University's Training Information Website. Academic advice for students are conducted weekly during the class meeting with the direct participation of the academic advisor during 04 years of studying. The results of the learners' opinion on the study advisory work show that the students appreciate the responsibilities and effectiveness of the academic staffs assigned to take charge of the classes.

Students can actively learn about the academic modules in advance through module syllabus in their student account. At the end of each module, students are surveyed to evaluate lecturers and assess the modules so that the University can grasp the actual situation in order to make necessary adjustments to improve the quality of teaching and learning. Since 2018, students' feedbacks have been surveyed online.

During their study, students of all batches are required to participate in internship and field trips, at different working agencies as prescribed in order to increase practical knowledge for students such as the trips to provinces like Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, and so on.

Regarding the University's landscape, all the faculties and functional offices have clear signs and instruction to help students easily access when they need to contact. Besides, the University's landscape is clean, green, environmentally friendly, helping students feel comfortable in the campus.

The classrooms have lights, projectors, speakers, fans, air conditioners to ensure adequate facilities for student learning. Students have their own self-study room fully equipped with fans and lights. The toilets are clean, well-connected with electricity and water and are clearly divided between Men and Women. Dormitories also ensure ventilation, environmental friendliness, adequate fans and lights for students.

The University has one canteen to serve students of the University (USSH) and one of the University of Science is located right next to the USSH campus, also very convenient for students in need. The University Health Department has a clear schedule, ready to serve students when any problems occur. And the fire protection equipment is sufficient and ready to handle when a problem occurs.

In order to improve the quality of the environment for supporting students' learning and research activities, the University always has a written dispatch to provide feedback on the quality of learner-support activities.
